2nd Year Ambassador

Why did you decide to apply to be an Alumni Ambassador? I wanted to be a part of a group of people that worked to not only invest in and improve the experiences of NC State students while enrolled, but also as graduates in the professional world.

What excites you most about being an Alumni Ambassador? I am most excited to see all of the wonderful things our organization will accomplish this year, and to work alongside the other ambassadors through that process.

What is your favorite AASAP event? My favorite event during the year is Red and White Week! We organize so many of the events during that week, and I love getting to see the excitement that it brings to campus.

What is your favorite AASAP memory?  My favorite AASAP memory is getting my class ring during the first Class Ring Ceremony in the newly renovated Reynolds Coliseum.  It was so special to have one of the best NC State Traditions in such a special place on campus.

What is something you are involved in outside of the Alumni Ambassadors? I participate in Dance Marathon at NC State, and am in my second semester as a research volunteer at UNC's Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders.

Why did you decide to apply to be an Alumni Ambassador? I applied to become an Alumni Ambassador because I enjoyed being a part of the Student Alumni Association and wanted to be a part of the great group of students who poured into the organization. I also wanted to be a part of the student organization that invests in the traditions of NC State and encourages other students to enjoy every second they spend at this amazing university.

What excites you most about being an Alumni Ambassador? I love being an Alumni Ambassador because I enjoy spending time with fellow Ambassadors and getting to take part in organizing and participating in the great events that AASAP puts on throughout the year.

What event are you looking forward to most as an Ambassador? I am most looking forward to Red and White Week this year because there is so much love and excitement for NC State during that time!

What is something you are involved in outside of the Alumni Ambassadors? Outside of AASAP I work for my mother's small business. I enjoy getting to invest in the family business, interact with our sweet customers and get creative with our marketing.

Why did you decide to apply to be an Alumni Ambassador? I decided to apply because I wanted to apply myself more outside of the classroom, and to get to know the university better.

What excites you most about being an Alumni Ambassador?  The most exciting part about being an ambassador is having 25 close friends who love the university just as much as you do. Also the chance to help others get closer to the school.

What event are you most looking forward to as an ambassador? I'm looking forward to the Student Alumni Association Networking Dinners and Red and White Week!

What is something you are involved in outside of the Alumni Ambassadors? I'm a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. I also enjoy fishing and playing basketball.

3rd Year Ambassador

Why did you decide to apply to be an Alumni Ambassador? I wanted to find an organization on campus that was close-knit and passionate about their mission. AASAP works so hard to contribute to the NC State community and its traditions and I love being a part of something so special.

What excites you most about being an Alumni Ambassador? I get excited about everything we do as an organization because I get to do it with my AASAP family where every individual has a talent to contribute and a passion for our school.

What is your favorite AASAP event?  I don’t have a favorite event, I have a favorite week of events. Homecoming is the best week of the year for me because AASAP plans so many events that go on throughout the week. When that week comes I get to work the events alongside all of the ambassadors and we get to see our visions and hard work come to life. It’s such a rewarding experience.

What is your favorite AASAP memory? Picking a favorite memory from AASAP is extremely difficult for me. I’m so honored and proud to be a part of this group and every moment is great with these friends. If I had to choose, I would say Fall Retreat. We get to officially welcome all of our new ambassadors and start to form bonds from the fun activities and laughter we share.

What is something you are involved in outside of the Alumni Ambassadors? Outside of AASAP I work as a medical assistant for a doctor in Raleigh. I’m also dedicated to my school work and I love to hang out and go on adventures with my friends.
